"It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult"
Feeling blessed & grateful for all your prayers and good wishes, without your love & support this wouldn't have been successful. Like everyone else, I also have been waiting for life to get back to normal for every one of us. It certainly provided, we have to move on with the new normal and that is the only way going forward.
Hello dear friends, it's been quite a long time since I have written my previous article. Due to the unexpected changes to our normal life, we all were forced into the new normal. Thanks to the health workers and all others who were tireless working to save the affected and get life back to normal.
I am so thankful that I am able to complete the Across Tamil Nadu End Polio Awareness ride well within the expected date.
I have been running over phone calls planning various proposals for a long-distance ride and constantly amending it considering how the outside world situation was changing in India.
Finally, settled in to ride within Tamil Nadu and create a 40-day long route map that covers all the major cities in the state of Tamil Nadu. This time as well, I ventured the open road to create End Polio awareness as a Rotary club project as part of the club I am part of. Rotary Club of Chennai Korattur RI District 3232.
Referring to the stoicism quote mentioned at the start of this article, I dared to ride in between the pandemic with the belief that the prayers of everyone will safeguard everything I do. As expected things fell in place at the right time and I with a strange feeling but still pedaled for the successful finish on 2nd April 2021 at Chennai.
..more on upcoming articles.
