Thanks to The Hindu editor Ms. Lakshmi Kanthimathi for publishing my cycling story in
The Hindu Down Town on 20th July, 2018. Due to that, I have been invited by many people and appreciated at the same time for my efforts in cycling solo from Chennai to Delhi. One of those who identified my story in the newspaper and spent their valuable time to honor me is Mr. Muthu Ramalingam from
Aathichudi International Pre School, Ramapuram. Never though it would lead me to beautiful moments like these when I was pedaling on the road but I had spent moments wondering what and all would happen if I reach the destination I chose.

Initially, I worried that couldn't able to give a proper commitment timeline for the invitation from Mr. Muthu Ramalingam. Thankfully, on a pleasant evening, he messaged me and requested again to visit the preschool by that evening if i'm available. Even though I was roaming between one newspaper to another newspaper to find a hard copy of News Today newspaper, I made it to the preschool the same evening minutes past the agreed meeting timing.

Greeting:
Mr. Muthu Ramalingam is actually working in a chemical engineering background company and his wife Ms. Kavitha is running the preschool in a risk-free place for children at Ramapuram. Both of them welcomed me with a humble smile and honored my cycling efforts with an Indian Tradition (I guess) by wearing me a scarf/shawl.
Wonderful Discussions:
It was an emotional moment to me as it made me think of how more responsible of a person I should going forward due to this respect. Then settled down and as usual I got those curious questions I receive from everyone about my trip from the two of them. I was answering them with complete enthusiasm as I love to share my experiences and always wanted people to ask me more questions. Then we discussed many interesting topics which were of great learning to me, especially where I heard from them about the people of Gujarat and their lifestyle was so enriching and lively.

Their Commitments towards Indian Youth:
Both of them were doing a great job as mentioned that they are truly committed to encourage young generations of India. Not many would come up to encourage others in these fast lifestyle as everybody were forced to run behind their priorities. A big thanks to them for recognizing my story and inviting me over as it helped to experience new things in life.

About the preschool:
Being to a preschool where children having a fun way of learning is the first instance for me. I witnessed them doing their preschool activities with full enthusiasm under the guidance of Mrs. Kavitha, Mrs. Rajeshwari and the the child care takers Mrs. Vidya and Mrs. Meena. Having gone through their preschool Facebook page posts given me a feeling that they are truly engaging children with creative activities. Not only this, I heard that they were teaching important life skills to students in their huge playground associated with the preschool. Like Silambam, Football, and Yoga for elder people in the evening.

Wonderful gesture by Kenvin Paul:
One another special thing that gave me more happiness is the thought and action of a school student Mr. Kevin Paul. This student had a brilliant idea to gift seed balls to others on his own birthday. He gave seed balls packed in a box to the friends in his neighborhood and to preschool. This seed balls can be thrown in the sides of the playground to make them grow as plants and trees. What an incredible thought to a school student I wondered.

Finally, I sneaked some fruit salad once the Fruit Salad celebration event got over. Actually, they shared the fruit salad among everyone who present over there and also packed a few to the children parents. My heartfelt best wishes to the preschool success as it is evident in their creativeness itself.
