Things like this make me more of a human being into this beautiful world. As mentioned in my previous articles I am a crazy but shy guy in general. Due to whatever reasons I did not had more experience collaborating socially with the opposite sex. May be it is due to the society which doesn't encourage (in many situations) boys and girls to talk with each other in Schools, Colleges, Public places.
Once in a mall in Chennai, I just said Hello to a random girl and my friends immediately escaped the scene. Never mind what the girl have reacted but my friends were afraid that it could become a problem. Not to blame anyone but it has been that way for unknown reasons.
I become a total new person while I am traveling solo, I couldn't exactly put it into words. I break all my shyness, reach out to people, mingle well with others genuinely irrespective of their gender, and all. As law of nature has it, I coincidentally met two random girls every time I travel ever since.
Hong Kong Trip - Had a great evening with two Chinese girls
Jammu Kashmir Trip - Got a lot of respect from two Indonesian girls
In Jammu Kashmir, I hitchhiked and also got a taxi to Sonmarg from Dal Lake, Srinagar. After reaching Sonmarg, two Indonesia girls who came along in the taxi approached me and requested me to let them stay with him in the tent for the night. I replied "If you are fine, I am totally fine with it". That gave me a lot of self respect as two random girls believing in you is a great feeling. We immediately become friends and ate food in one plate. We three stayed together in a two member Quechua tent. Will write a dedicated article explaining this experience in detail.
Delhi - Got around with two French girls
The major take away for me from these experiences is that they believing in me that I am not a threat to them by any means. Traveling solo helped me mingle well with total everyone. Everyone should travel to as many places they could and if possible go solo and you will learn a lot about yourselves more than anything else.
Help me achieve my lifetime dream - Cycling solo from India to Western Europe
I have recently rode 2200 KM by bicycle for the first time and that inspired me to attempt even bigger things in life. I have decided that I will attempt solo cycling from Chennai, India to Western Europe in the near future. I am researching on to rope this epic ride with a social cause/charity work. Whatever you are funding me will help me on the road as well as some percentage of amount will go for the charity.

Hong Kong Trip - Had a great evening with two Chinese girls
Long story short, I reached Hong Kong and was getting around new places everyday. One day, returned back to the May's dorm in the afternoon and saw two Chinese woman were present. Just gave them a gentle smile and nod looking at their eyes, they nodded back with smile. Then had conversation with them and came to know that they are exploring Hong Kong for the first time if I'm not wrong. They were prepared to explore The Peak at Hong Kong which is the highest point of Hong Kong. I immediately asked them if I can come with them to see The Peak. Rest is history, spent wonderful time exchanging a lot about their lifestyle and mine, talking about their culture, and all.

Delhi - Got around with two French girls
I saw two French girls walking in the street, and one of them got her eyes glued to the smartphone curiously searching for something. I approached her and told "I'm a fellow traveler and you seem to be searching for something, can I be of some help?". She responded that they both were looking for a cheap and hygienic dorm room to stay at that place. They were actually looking for a particular Rountana in the map where one of them stayed there earlier and told its a suitable place. Luckily, I came across the Rountana last night and I got along them and looked around for room and found one at last. Later they invited me to join them as they are going to visit Lodhi Garden which is a romantic and cool place to visit at Delhi in the evening.
The major take away for me from these experiences is that they believing in me that I am not a threat to them by any means. Traveling solo helped me mingle well with total everyone. Everyone should travel to as many places they could and if possible go solo and you will learn a lot about yourselves more than anything else.
